A Little Lighter

I had intended to stitch the 'feathery' bits on the full motif before deciding what to redo but the 'heavy' stitching offended me so much that I ripped it all out.

The second attempt is not as light and feathery as I would like but this is more along the lines that I envisaged.

That does look better.Having more spae between the beads helps.

It's a shame you can't vary the size of the beads. A smaller gold to edge and maybe one strand of the bigger beads might give the effect. That being said, it's all LOVELY and we're splitting hairs here.
